And a Bit of Skyby strangeghostComment: Wow! Really great shot! There is almost an optical illusion (until you scroll down, or eye gets down far enough to see the window on the bottom) that the building is rising on the left and right and you are looking straight out from a balcony. At first it just appears like an OK photo, but then the eye starts to decipher all the lines, most importantly those which frame the sky (great composition). This is one of my favorites that I have seen not only in this challenge, but overall. Good job! |

Into Her Soulby librodoComment: Wow! Great photo! The only critique I would make is your reflection in her eyes, which often is seen as a technical error. Although, in this photo (given the title) it can also have the positive effect showing you as part of her soul, in her soul, part of her, etc. Or, it gives the viewer the sense that they are looking at her in person. Either way, good shot! |

Condoreoby bpcardonaComment: I lost two friends in an accident before, I know how that feels and this photo brought that back. Very painful. |

Down thereby heidaComment: Your eyes DOMINATE this photo, which are the window to our soul and the essence of who we are. Great self portrait! |

In the clouds by keoneComment: I saw the thumbnail version of the pic and thought to myself, "I think that's Mt. Rainier!" I was pleased to see it was. I am from the Seattle area and have flown by that mountain many times, and I, too, have tried to capture it. You did a great job and it is a joy to see a home-town treat. Your window must have been pretty clean, too! ;) We have a saying up there when the weather is clear: "The Mountain's Out" |
