Spectacular shot. The lighting to me is just fantastic. The nerd in me has to say that this looks like Orthanc, Saruman's tower. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure another nerd will back me up on this eventually. Beautiful, beautiful shot.

An potentially interesting shot. You have a lot of colors to work with, a charming setting and a beautiful background. First of all I would submit your pic at the full 640 pixels allowed so we get the full effect. Maybe a polarizer could have helped to reduce the glare from the sand. All in all a good photo, lighting was a bit harsh.

Just from her eye and her hair, you can tell right off the bat that you have a beautiful model to work with...but in my opinion you didn't take full advantage of that. The background is distracting and there are a lot of annoying hot spots. The light on her is nice, but the background doesn't fit the photo.

If I were you I'd get this girl back for some more photos in a nice, flattering environment and see what you can do.
