strange how it seem to be in focus on top and bottom but not in middle. ok, I understand now, the plan of focus is behind the front of the closest link. Deeper DOF is my recommendation.

tres right, but n'est pas very interesting either. You should have used a black table for the creature to stand on, there is an nasty cast to the eyes.

good idea, I like the upside down, but maybe better is the screws were falling more "straight" down, if you follow me. Focus could be sharper.
