Wow, I like this one. I wish the whites were actually white though, you know? They look sort of dulled down or grey, this can be fixed with selective color in whites or the dodge tool

very moody and cool. I like the long shadows, it must have been later in the day, or very early. It would be cool to add a gradient of tone to the sky with a burn tool, just to give it more interest.

Meaning once you take those 'filter's off you're eyes, things are more interesting. I guess LSD or peyote could help too...

I dig the photo though, it looks like a place I would be. It has a good composition for such complexity and it makes me wonder what this place is for.

Man and his Dogs

I first looked at this and was brought to the man, then his dogs, then the huuuuge vista behind him. This is awesome, the order I should looking at things. The background is almost surreal, very good choice to go B/W. The composition works well to. One thing I would possibly suggest is to make the whites all the way white, and the blacks all the way black. There seems to be a little bit too much grey, I'd play around with the selective color or even a bit of contrast.

great picture, the detail in the eye is very cool. It would be cool to paint over those reflections in the pupil... Yeah yeah I know, I edit too much.

So lee-baby this is a good picture, I'm still trying to figure out how you got it. Maybe from a tall building window or sometihng, or something along the lines of flying. It met the challenge well and looks very dodged-and-burned with the big unsharp mask and contrast, very nice idea to compensate for a basic editing challenge.
