Your DOF killed your image, the busy background could have been blurred a lot more to distinguish it from your real subject. (is that supposed to be the Star Wars Jar Jar Binx? lol)

Great message in there but I'm sure some argue that they only understood it cause of the title and the picture should speak for itself. The lighting on the trash itself is good but major overexposure above it, maybe a reading somewhere in between would have helped or maybe adust curves afterwards.

While it fits the challenge it doesn't really have any wow to it, I would try and steer away from having the image dead center and going up the center of the shot like this. You did keep the horizon from being center so that is a plus. You've got some overcast which dulled your colors slightly, wonder if a polarizer would have helped?

Very cool (pun intended) image. Did you freeze the ball then let it melt some? Great idea, nice lighting and color tones. Even like the overexposed white spot on the front, helps show its metal.
