Youl'l probably get marked down for the size of this photo as it's hard to get a good look at it...that being said, it looks like it could have been a great photo although I'm not too excited about the placement of the hinge in the frame. the composition seems to be lacking in this regard. otherwise, a great subject with great mood to it.

Nice colour and mood. I don't really like the way the bottom of the frame (the sill?) has been cropped off on the left side of the photo. The subject and colour have potential but the picture is not yet interesting. I would be tempted to have zoomed out and made the window less overbearing.

To be honest, I really don't like the "set up" aspect of photography and I think it's interesting that the attitude on this site seems to be more about the end than the means BUT:

When you're this good, EddyG you need to flaunt it, baby!!

I agree, no real need to edit...except if I were you I would give subtle USM a try to get a little more detail in the texture.

You captured it very well! I would definitely sell this as a high-quality print if I were you.

Based on the comments, this would have been the winner by a long shot had everyone understood the joke!

This is great work...it exposes (and even exploits) a large part of the dpc formula without coming across as bitter or sarcastic. Very well done and it is so very ironic that you were told it doesn't meet the challenge!!

I thought the RGB/droplets/flower/macro negated any need to meet a challenge!

Definitely a lot of potential...I think I would try and stretch out the histogram to make the blacks more black.

And yes, the blobs need to go away and I would go for a much more dramatic crop...be bold...

I'd like to see this if you again if you tweak it a bit.
