Into the Stormby saracatComment: This is possibly the one I most like of this serie. The ballons are sharp and well distributed vertically. Maybe, as suggested, a little bit out of the center would have worked better, but maybe not. Nice shot. |

AliceHighKey3pad.jpgby saracatComment: Love it. It's spectacular IMO. Maybe a little bit (but very little) darker would have gained. But it depends a lot on the monitor, maybe it's OK but my monitor sucks...LOL.
Well done. |

CollinsBridge.jpgby saracatComment: Nice shot. Like a lot the composition and the subject. I'm not sure if I would like it more without the blowed lights, but it's quite interesting this way. |

sanibel lighthouseby ArpeggioAngelComment: Very nice image. Love the composition. The sky is so nice: blue and with a big cloud. Only maybe the borders are a bit oversharpened.
Well done. |

Grand Canyon duskby ArpeggioAngelComment: Amazing shot. Love it. A multiple layers shot is always spectacular when well done. The hues of blue are wonderful. Very nice. |

grand canyon rainby ArpeggioAngelComment: WOW, what a location to shot from. Very good POV. Like the composition and the colors (yellows, then reds, then blues). Maybe you can add dark to the sky to make it even better.

brooklyn bridgeby ArpeggioAngelComment: Oh, that bridge... I love NY.
Well, the photo... very nice. Like the composition, dynamic (from side to side, up-down), the BG wonderful. B&W works well for the subject.
As master Rikki says, maybe a little soft. I'll add that maybe you should recover some sky a little bit more dramatic with PS.
Nice work. |

TheGates1.jpgby kdkaboomComment: This is a great shot. The composition is quite nice, with the gates leading the view through the image. And of course is from NY (I suppose Central Park), you can see the buildings in the BG. The color of the gates is wonderful. The only but could be the branches in the sky, that have some cromatich aberration. If you shoot in RAW, maybe with adobe camera raw you can fix this.
I like the shot. |

Ghost_Train_IMG_0280S.jpgby kdkaboomComment: Nice picture. You make a good use of leading lines in the composition (road, rail, tombs) but maybe is a little bit centered. Maybe you could try a different POV to move the attention from the center. Just an opinion. The colors are OK. I don't know your knowledge on PS, but I thing you could take more from the sky if you select and give it more contrast and dark.
Well done and keep shooting. |

Swinging Foot Bridge Entranceby SJCarterComment: Great capture of a dangerous bridge. I will not cross through it, be sure...LOL. Composition is very good: the bridge, the trees and the mountains lead the view to the same point. Textures are OK, but it seems oversharpened to me, especially in the border mountains/sky. I'm not sure, but maybe using gaussian blur will help you to improve that borders.
But that are only PS questions (that can help you improve, anyway). But the most important thing is to have the EYE, and I think is clear you have it. |
