I really like this photograph -- the colors, lighting and composition are so pleasing to me. I know we're all struggling a little with the guidelines for "framing." I am trying so hard to be fair, and I just don't think this meets the guidelines as I understand them. But I do like the photo.

I liked your choice of subject. There seems to be a little distortion. I've read that is sometimes caused by working on a jpg image. I've been told by more experienced photographers to save the image as a tif or PS file until I'm through editing it and then save it as a jpg to enter the contest. Just a thought.... :-)
