When the challenge is over I'd like for you to reveal your post processing technique -- I really like it! It reminds me a little of Virtual Photographer's ambience filter. Beautiful colors and focus.

Beautiful photograph. The colors and contrasts are great and his eyes are stunning. It is so difficult to correctly expose for black & white - but you've managed it beautifully. My only suggestion would be to crop more off the right so his eyes sit on the rule of thirds (I know it's just a guideline, but I think it would have worked well here.) And, if possible under advanced editing (I'm not real sure) blurring the background would focus more attention on your wonderful subject.

Would this by chance be my new friend in Switzerland? ;-) Hope you're scoring well.
