This looks like an interesting piece of equipment. I don't know if you were going for a silhouette shot, if so, good job - lots of detail and slight light reflections are nice. If not, it is a little dark for MY tastes. The sun does detract from the equipment but it provides the nice reflection on the water. I would maybe try this it a different angle?

I like the use of the vertical grain in this, it goes well with the lines in the feather, for my taste I would like to see it a little more pronounced, just a little. Gorgeous colors, good job
