Solemnby kiwinessComment: Hehehe, the flightless bird returns to haunt us !
Sheesh - only 11th place though - you a little rusty kiwi ? :).
I like the pose, soft feel, and that eyeshadow is simply ridiculous - almost enough to drive me into a boy george/ marilyn manson phase.

490_9083 - 8x12 - small.jpgby KevinRiggsComment: Maybe too much sand on the legs ? - They almost appear completely covered which seems a little out of place given the garden style background other than that I like the pose and the composition and focus are right on the money. Lovely model too. |

A Glimpse, Capturedby SkipComment: I really like the direction your heading in Skip, this is another fantastic image. One of quite a few of yours I've seen lately. |

Who needs a man?by grigrigirlComment: Well I think my original comment sums up how I feel about the placement of this shot. I am curious as to my initial question about whether anyone made any DQ requests (I'd be surprised if they didn't - though disappointed if the site council seriously entertained them) - though I guess it's not like its the kind of issue you'd have to supply proof over, so you likely wouldn't know even if someone had.
Anyway, I'm not going to rave over this again - I already did that, the only thing I can fault about the image is the title - I just think the almost comedic approach you have taken to titling this detracts from the sensuous air created by the shot itself.
Cheers

Winter Sunset — Luminous Iceby Bear_MusicComment: Stunning. Very stark, in a wonderful way. This is clearly my favourite of your shots here. I quite like the centralised composition - it's almost as if the ice is cascading down the image, and the background has taken on an almost otherworldly feel. |

Aperture by ZoomdakComment: Once again this is gorgeous. Though at this point I'll have to admit I can't wait for the time when we get to see you put your excellent skills to work on another landscape :P. I guess that's the curse of still being in school eh :). Good luck with your track season, and congrats on another beautiful image...not to mention the blue ribbon that goes with it. |

Flirting With The Morning Lightby librodoComment: Predictable perhaps, but continually stunning nonetheless - I like the way you have employed the light here. Congrats on yet another 6.5+ image! |
