burn more caloriesby hopperComment: A really clever approach here. Theres something about this shot that doesn't sit quite right with me - maybe its a little too reddish/oversaturated. Either way, a great Idea and solid execution. I can't see how this falls out of the top ten (It's definately got a good shot at a week on that front page). 8 from me. |

pier at sunsetby wkmenComment: Love the reflections here, greazt colours, great silhouettes, possibly the footprints(?) in the foreground could be cloned out, but all in all this is a very good image. |

old barn and buttercupsby wkmenComment: This is a nice shot but yes, that branch is a distraction, and I think perhaps you have too much foreground (in spite of the foreground being quite interesting) - I'd like to see a bit more of the trees behind the ramshackle shed - the one right next to it seems a little unnaturally truncated. |

life's ebb & flowby wkmenComment: This has potential but the trees are a little out of focus and in parts over-exposed. Also, the ocean does seem a little unreal - though I have occasionally seen it take similar colours, so it may just be a particularly beautiful day in a particularly beautiful spot. |

pier reflectionsby wkmenComment: This is a really great shot, love the misty horizon contrasting with the dark support structure - makes for an interesting contrast. Very moody image - this one is a success. |

The Gingerbread Manby PixelstateComment: Wow, just stumbled accross this. This is a wonderfully creative shot.
Well done. Now as soon as I get a camera on which I can set the shutter speed I will shamelessly appropriate the hand-motion blur technique :P. |

Kick the Habitby soupComment: Okay this image is both amusing and outrageously well executed. That earns you a 10 from me and a blue ribbon prediction. (please note, the only other time I ever predicted an image would win the challenge it did- see comment on imagineers landmark entry - so congratulations in advance :P).
Revised comment - having seen the other images I'm afraid I'm going to have to downgrade my projection to top 5 :).... partly because of a couple of incredible shots. But mainly because someone else took exactly the same photo - which will likely kill your originality vote. Still, a ten from me. great composition and lighting.
PS... I reserve the right to change my prediction once I have voted on the entire field - this is about the 12th photo I have seen. |

Not To Feel Blue When I Get Bad Commentsby MonaComment: Oh wow, this is so incredibly stunning I don't even think the fact that the challenge link is extremely tenuous will keep you out of the top five (By the way the title is awful - you should have gone with something that matches the emotionality of this scene). One of the most evocative landscape shots I have ever seen. 10. |
