One of my favorite type of newspaper assignments is to capture "wild art", which is defined as "Stand-Alone, Feature Shot, Enterprise art are found moments that are intended to be realistic slices of everyday life" (definition taken from this glossary). These are typically images that caption themselves, not needing a lot of words to get their point across. For this challenge, I'm scoring images as whether I'd like to see them on the front page of a paper as feel good wild art. If I don't think they would make the paper, I'm then asking myself, "does it make me feel good?" If it doesn't do much for me, well then, oh well...

Nice idea, love the sentiment. This situation could possibly have offered a more dynamic image, like if they were more expressive or active (clapping or taking a picture).

This is a nice image. If anything, I would crop in much, much tighter, focusing in on the relationship between the birds and removing everything that doesn't contribute to their story.

Interesting take on the challenge. I'm looking real hard to get a sense of what's going on here, but am thrown off by the unidentifiable bright objects on the right. They distract me more than clue me in.

This is a nice shot, but not really moving my "feel good" needle. It feels more like still art than real life. Nicely done, but not very emotive.

Nice shot, popping colors, but not really something that brings across any "feel good" emotions.

It's a nice enough shot, but I'm not a fan of the processing. And while it's a nice sentiment, it's not necessarily what I would consider "feel good". Just my personal opinion

I like the shot, but am having a hard time relating the story in the photo to the idea of "feel good".

Nicely done! While not an emotion-evoking image, the sentiment does make me feel good.
