Asian Savanaby orvaratliComment: sorry, this is just too confusing. i would have preferred you to either have shot a portrait or a landscape, but not try to cram both into one, especially when you've done such a nice bw conversion. the desat leaves her looking very much pasted in. the top of the photo, without her, is very strong, in and of itself. |

Giraffesby MudHutComment: way cool. just wish you'd gone for a deeper dof; just my personal taste, though. |

Tough Gameby msdoubletroubleComment: this is just begging for sharpness. these shots are tough, but stick with it, and you'll get what you're after. |

Red Barnby mpreslarComment: i guess your alternate title was 'blue sky' ;-) nicely observed, even though it's probably a bit too subtle for most of this crowd. i wonder how many viewers actually notice the skyline on the horizon... |

Snow Daysby JamesKWComment: sorry, but in my opinion, you've ruined a perfectly beautiful photograph with your processing. i imagine this may be gushed over by some, but for me, this is what i would expect to see printed on velvet, being sold in a rural flea market...and i don't think it really needs to be that way. the composition and capture are excellent. oh well, to each their own. |

Marriott Royal Hotelby KonadorComment: the colors and treatment of the sky make this a bit more interesting than it really seems to be. i don't imagine too many people would think of a photo of the front of a hotel as being representative of their best work of the year, but then again, it's all subjective, isn't it ;-) |
