i really like your framing on this... I wonder if a polarizer could have deepened the blue in the sky al little?
I'm still trying to figure out how this thing stands up... looks like the tension on the wires is all that gives it rigidity... think I've read about such structures, but not seen one. Would like to know where this is, and what's the function.

Super! This is obviously >1:1 magnification... did you crop from a larger image? While I like your choice of DoF, I'm wondering if bringing the center of focus to the center of the seam would have made this even better?

I love the lighitng; your exposure is spot on, and DoF is perfect.
Did you also try this in landscape (with eye of foremost mannequin at upper left "rule of thirds" point & a little neg. space at right)?

Nice intrepretation of the subject; the lighting just makes this shot for me. Did you provide the front and/or side lighting on the statue?
Only impovement I could imagine would be a little more of the front light on his head/face.
