"Bear" Nakedby robaComment: Great lighting. A very interesting pose. I think the banister rail is a bit distracting. I also think her feet appear a bit too uncomfortable, however the shape the pointed feet add to the legs does add to some great definition, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I think that if the model was looking at the camera, it might have added to your score as well. |

Male Definitionby Sunshine86Comment: Very flat lighting, I would have wanted to see more definition in the skin. I like the detail of the necklace however, and the actual shape of the light. I think a bit more light, and some editing to add some contrast and you would have increased your score quite a bit. GOod Luck |

The Flaming Snowballby RebeccaComment: Yep, your thread threw me here...
I feel bad, first because I didn't actually vote on your image, it was on my screen, and I got pulled from my desk until just after voting closed. But here's my written thought process on it.
The subject itself, of the girl holding fire on snow, is awesome, I think there were some distractions however. Namely the girls behind are just not seperated out enough, a slightly smaller DOF may have helped that. I don't know the DOF from it, so can't help you there, but it would have helped the seperation.
I didn't like the desat, I don't think it gained enough from it to really make it pop. I think that if the desat had been everything but the fire, that might have helped. I'm admittedly not in the desat friendly club. It was a very good job of desat, but didn't really like it.
The fire crowd was very good, so I wouldn't feel bad about the score itself, there's just alot of stuff higher in the smaller crowd.
My final score, would have been about a 7.

7 Step Solution...HA!...I have a one step solutionby sabphotoComment: Tossing this a 6. I think your focus point should have been the cubes in his hand. This would have given a clear focus on the reason he used the obvious hammer creating the other pieces. If the guide was then out of focus, I would have relocated it to make it readable. |

Candy Surpriseby annahComment: I love the idea. I might have scored it higher if the edge of the tag hadn't dissappeared into the background. Maybe a pink tag? |

BLING BLINGby mandyturnerComment: I think that to pull this off, those diamonds and the metal attached to them need to pop out a bit more. That's a tricky statement, so maybe just a slightly different angle to show it off a bit better. |

Glorious Momentby ApeeComment: Very interesting choice of angle. It's a bit odd to me the angle. I don't like the lighting here, I don't know how to fix it, but I think what looks like the on camera flash is the right thing here. Good Luck. |

Lusciousby inspir8tionComment: very nice shot, the static in the hair, as well as the loops of what looks like hair on the other side of her chin are distracing. OI can barely tell that it's not, but I'd guess that the areas where her arms dissappear into probably a robe or a towel looks a bit edited, and a bit odd in it's context. Good luck. |
