The lighting and composition work well. The object on the right hand side that is reflected in the surface detracts from the impact of your composition though. I would suggest that a dark matt surface would really enhance the colour of the truck and contrast well with the rice.

I like the contrast between the textures of the old building and the smoothness of the modern car and wiper. The content in the top left corner detract from the impact of the main subject. It could possibly still work even with top and left cropped to remove the background details. Making the image black and white as well might help to enhance the difference in the texture even more.

I really love your use of light and how you have used it to set up the composition. The textures all work so well together and the various directional elements created by the highlights are really quite powerful. This image generates two moods at once. One that is a little comical and the other that is rather sombre and moody. The term "dark comedy" comes to mind.
