The black and white treatment and general composition seperate this from the other images of this type in this challenge. I like the contrast between the straight lines in the background and the curves of the splash. I also think that the tonal contrast in this image is very pleasing.

I think the dark tones and high contrast of this image almost make it abstract. To me its a very evocative image. The glare in the dark areas and the white foam across the middle express a dark and moody sense while at the same time being powerful and merciless. The only thing I would change would be to rotate a little to straighten the horizon. Just personal taste. Good Luck.
