Great idea but the execution did not come out well. For me better focus on the feather (and a larger feather) would have made it. Good luck.

Nothing like simplicity to steal away the senses. After seeing so many complete images with the entire real estate being used, this is a wonderful relief for the eyes. very good composition. Bumpimg up

I like the idea. Showing the feather that small though, really leaves me wanting to see more detail. I agree with the use of negative space, but here it overpowers the subject. A closer zoom on the feather (and a higher shutter speed if necessary) might improve this imho.
