June in B&Wby Mark of SRQComment: Well composed, good use of thirds. I like the DOF and the soft lighting. I like the B&W look with this picture if make you focus on the subject more than it would if it was in color. Good job! |

Stormyby ZoomdakComment: Nice shot but I know I have seen this Rock show up in at least 4 challenges in different perspectives. |

All Gave Some - Some Gave All by ClubJuggleComment: This is a very powerful photograph full of emotion. It meets the challenge with no doubt. I think titles can add to a photo as well as take away, your title ADDED to the photo. As far as the picture I think your lighting is good with good use shadows. Focus right on and the use of B&W works well Ă¢€“ wow you can feel the emotion. Great job 10. |

More Than Wordsby ellamayComment: In my judgment this is immense shot with brilliant lighting and shadows and black and white works great with this photograph. You leave me wondering where the Ă¢€˜hero themeĂ¢€™ is sited in the photo but the photograph it self is telling me its there. I donĂ¢€™t know why, my best guess is you prepared such a good photograph that my interpretation is overridden by the power of the photo. 10 |

Heroic Forgivenessby ZoomdakComment: Good lighting and I like the shadows and the use of B&W. I also love your subject. Top circle a little burned out but overall a great job. |

Not Forgottenby elsapoComment: I donĂ¢€™t believe the desaturation helps in this photo. I believe it takes my eye away from the hero and focusing it on the flowers. I wish your photograph would of told whom you hero was it keeps me guessing. The cross seems new [maybe you a trying to portray a new resting place] but I believe it would have been better worn by the weather [old wood]. But I will have to say your lighting and angle were good. |
