Snowden Parkby dixonp1Comment: I think you went with a little to much blur effect with this shot. If the sky would not of been so prominent then it may have been a good idea. The blur or mystical feel takes away from the fallen leaves and just don't go well with the sharper sign to me. If this photo would of been leading the eye into the woods with out the sky i think it would of worked. I wish you the best in the challenge. |

ABC Transmittingby biggood53Comment: I know some of us are limited to the landmarks around our area and maybe this was the best you had access too. Even with that said i think you have a picture that could of been a good shot. Your perspective is to far away in my opinion. I don't know if you could of go closer but that would of helped. The guide wires could of been a plus for you if you could of got close enough. As I look at your picture I think, and this is just my opinion, if you could of got close to one of the guide wires and took a picture from the guide wire up to wards the top of the towers with the towers being in focus not the guide wire, i think it would have been more interesting. The sky has clouds that could of been a good impact with some levels and curves. Sorry for such a long comment but I like pictures of structures and I believe this one had a chance to be good. Maybe retake another day and see what comes out. Good luck in the challenge, I wish you well. |

Stanley (1928) Jersey City, 2nd largest Theater E. of Mississipi Riverby graphicfunkComment: Your photograph seems to be slightly off center [bottom more to the left than the top]. I know we all talk about thirds but in this picture if feel as if 'STANLEY' would of been vertically in the middle given the picture an even flow outward would of been more apealing to the eye [imo]. However with that said I think you did a good job. I like the lighting, colors, shadows. As is [7] |

"The Big Chicken" - Atlanta's #1 Landmark!by wetlandComment: I live only 100 miles for Atlanta and did not even know this KFC even existed. Nice colors, good focus, and a beautiful blue sky for the red chicken to blend with. I think this shot is an average shot but think it would of scored higher from a different perspective. As I look at your picture it seems that its going to flip over on its beak. Maybe [if you could have] standing more to the left would of given your picture dimension. As it sits the room slants downward to the left as the chicken slants to the right as it goes up. I know thats the lens [everyone has to deal with that] but moving to the left i think would of helped. [5] |

Retired Athleteby miaminoviceComment: I like the subject but your photograph has to many distractions. The rain droplets or light flairs are very distracting. Looks like it was take through a car window on a rainy day. The title is OK but a better suitable title would be "This lane Closed". Wish you the best. |

facial landmarkby aplomb76Comment: Interesting take on the 'landmark' challenge. I don't think it fits well in this challenge and focus is soft. Not a bad picture but does have several distractions. One is the background to the left and above the nose. I think it would of been better if you could of achieved a deeper dof. Good use of B&W. Wish you the best in this challenge. |

decide where you wanna goby simbaComment: I'm sorry but your photograph is just to small to judge. And the border makes it even smaller. Next time take advantage of the 640 x size option available. |

Hallgrimskirkjaby arngrimurComment: You shot is a good example of how perspective can make or break a photograph. Their is nothing extra ordinary about your photograph but with your perspective it made a very good photograph. I love the lines, shadows, and lighting. Good Shot! |
