Ear Tag!by ConcreteDonkeyComment: Wow, if that's someone's defining feature, they must be a really shallow person. :-P Of course I'm mostly joking. Technically speaking, though, there are nice smooth skin tones and mostly even lighting. |

Defined Lips on Frownby kevrobertsonComment: I think the old-photo effect is significantly overdone here. It just sort of looks like the roll of film was accidentally exposed to sunlight or something, just too little contrast. |

Attitudeby soupComment: Cool! I love the OOF face in the background!
Funny, this is the second picture yet with the title 'Attitude'. |

Love In Her Eyesby jbeazellComment: Cute!! There's a TON of eye pictures in this challenge, but this is one of the best. |

Eyesby faidoiComment: Really nice shot. The irises are so detailed and sharp, especially, though the whole image is sharp and clean. |

Vibrant Plumageby xtabintunComment: Nice colors, interesting picture, but the challenge clearly states "Take a picture of a person's defining feature." and I don't feel this meets it. Unless that's a person in a bird suit? Yeah, I will persist in voting based on the challenge topic, that's the whole point a "challenge" and of DPC. |

Window to the Soulby jaredldrComment: Interesting. Nice idea with the reflection. Good sharp shot. However, seeing all the little hairs this close up protruding from the skin is really kind of disconcerting/yucky to look at for me. Nothing against the model, it's just that when a photo is 10X life size like this, natural features can sometimes begin to look weird and gross. |

Defining Innocence.by parrotheadComment: Great contrast and B&W tones. Once again, I bet you get people complaining about 'cliche selective desat' but I think this is beautiful. |

Natalie's Eyes: Compassionby SandyPComment: Very nice and smooth feeling. Soft focus effect? NeatImage? I'm sure you'll get plenty of people complaining that it's got 'too much NeatImage', regardless of whether you actually used it. Whatever. I like it. Nice white eyes although the irises are a bit blurred, which is the one part that feels funny, one expects to see the natural radial patterns in them. |
