Let There Be Lightby lizzyc3Comment: Fabulous. Love the halo around the bulb, is that because of a filter, or is it just how it turned out? Maybe because of CCD bleeding, where really bright pixels bleed into the surrounding pixels? 9 |

Candy Colored Tape Dispensersby dsa157Comment: Cool! Great composition, fabulous colors, nice DOF. It is slightly blocky or noisy though, as if it's been overcompressed or is from a one-megapixel camera or something. Still very nice. |

The Honey Roseby neenee1999Comment: Nice composition and setup, but it's really blurry and grainy looking, like the images I get from my Sony video camera on snapshot mode. Also, the rose appears very fake (to my admittedly non-flower-expert eyes) with what appears to be little threads sticking out of the flower petal tips. |

Clothes Pegsby TartugaComment: Great primary colors. Interesting composition, with the clothes pins sort of radiating out around the cord, and forming an arc across the image. Slightly out of focus on the closest parts of the yellow and red pins, though. The aperture may have been fine, because even the farthest part of the cord at the top left side is still in focus, so a slightly closer focus point may have improved it. |

Primary Mergerby mcmurmaComment: Positively brilliant!! The colors are stunning and the focus and DOF are perfect. The slight white highlight on the upper right of the jar brings out the texture of the glass before it fades away into the smooth creaminess of the shallow depth of field. I couldn't give this less than a 10.
How are the colors done? Is it all in the background, or are there colored lights? |

PHoto PHorkby scab-labComment: Nice warm/cool color contrast! I also like how the fork fades to black at the left edge of the picture, never quite touching the border. |
