The Color...by C-town driverComment: Great composition. I really like this one. Seeing the caustic refractions projected on the background by the water is really cool. It would be nice to see more highlights on the letter "B" though, most of the highlights are one the "UE" part. Also, the B is slightly out of focus in the near corner. Focusing a little closer or increasing the DOF would help. 8. |

Kick'n Backby debitiptonComment: Mmmm.. beautiful feet... Oh, yeah, it's the blue I should be looking for... The threefold blue, jeans, flip-flops, and sky really make a cool composition. The frame is well filled leaving out any wasted space or distracting elements. Nice sharp focus and great color definition. |

Rusted Blueby goodhartComment: I like the use of negative space here. The sky is so smooth and rich in color, and I love the gradient from deep blue on the upper right to lighter blue in the lower left. |

Missed Callby notonlineComment: Cool picture, nice idea. It's pretty sharp and well exposed. Maybe an angle other than straight on would improve the interestingness of the composition, though. |

Blueberries & Sour Creamby GeneralEComment: I like the bowl color and how it works with the blueberries. It would be nice to have a deeper DOF so at least the closer berries were sharp, though, and a little more light on the berries. |

blue herron under a blue moonby koolaid26Comment: Cool, I like how the trees are blurred. This really looks like a painting! It's very neat. The horizon is a bit out of whack though, it's skewed to one side. |

Calvin Kleinby airaticComment: The idea is good, the execution could be improved, though. It seems to have been taken with the on-camera flash, which makes everything very flat and washed out. The skin feels pale and sickly because of the flash. Also, the image is a big grainy. With natural light, the blue color would be more vivid and the skin would appear more beautiful and smooth. |

A LITTLE BIRDYby Rando D300Comment: Good bird shot. Nice rich blue. Too bad the focus is on the belly of the bird, it would have been nice to have the eye be the point of focus. A little more DOF might have been needed too to get the blue feathers sharp as well. I like the yellow (green? I don't see greens well... :) and how it works with the blue. |

Blue Eyesby menardmamComment: Great! I love the unique view. And, though I like some of the "eyes" I've seem in this challenge, this only is definitely more different and makes you think about it more. Great lighting, nice background. Only, the right "eye" is a lot duller than the left side one, I would have liked the right side one to be as deep and rich in color as the left one. |
