This photo has a good amount of negative space which adds to dramatic flair. I'm not certain that the swimmer adds much to the shot. Did you try stopping down and lengthening the exposure? That particular technique may have served well in this circumstance.

Lastly, there is not an obvious connection to the challenge theme that I can ascertain, and perhaps it is the swimmer 'passing time' leisurely that you are attempting to convey here. It's not that obvious to me.

This photograph scores well on technical merit. Focus, exposure, color, sharpness, and detail are good.

The birds add some appeal to a rather unremarkable scene but they in themselves do not make a primary focal point. This photograph does not have an obvious connection to the challenge theme unfortunately and therefore will likely lose some points.

- Could have used a more dramatic angle to improve the crop.
- Too many distracting elements such as the toys and animals scattered about on the floor.

Funky perspective. Curtain washed out somewhat, but the broom is nicely "in your face" and focused well. I think the lighting was inadequate in this shot. Nice idea but unsuccessful execution IMO.

The focus suffers from a shallow DOF. Underexposed slightly and lighting is inadequate. Shadows too strong.

This fits the challenge theme nicely and I think you had a good idea, but the execution was rather unsuccessful.
