Golden Gate Bridge and Sutro Towerby faidoiComment: Ah! I just returned today from SF. I wish I had gone one week earlier. It was overcast and rainy the whole time! Great angle and perspective in addition to everything else there is to like about this shot. I hope it does well. |

Spherical reflections by anirenoComment: Originally posted by samtrundle: Okay the setup here is ridiculous, I scored you a 7 during the challenge, but clearly without stopping to think about how challenging the creation of this photo must have been.
If I had thought it through you would have got a 9 or a 10 from me.
I would apologise, but you've got a blue ribbon for your troubles, so I don't think you are feeling particularly horrible about it.
Congratulations on a brilliant effort. |
Congratulations, anireno! My sentiments perfectly mirror what samtrundle already said. On more consideration, I agree that this was quite an impressive and creative setup. Good luck! |

Berriesby KonadorComment: Needs a deeper DOF. Loss of focus on your seven berries. |

Red Maple at Night by rd_325Comment: Sharp, focused, well exposed. Excellent color saturation Artistically a well framed shot. I prefer the black backdrop against which you shot your subject. Fits the challenge theme nicely. |

Very mice to meet youby _wu_Comment: Creative idea. Your photograph has adequate sharpness, although it probably could have been sharpened a "whisker" more. There is quite a bit of noise on the cat's fur which may have been a technical limitation of your digital camera so I won't hold that against ya. Overall the cat does not appear interested in her visitors in the slightest, but they are quite finicky and don't follow directions very well haha. Overall a good effort. |

"poppin" the children of the corn...by DogAngelComment: cute.
Returning for further comments.....
Very clever and funny! I think you have a remarkably creative mind. Bonus points for creativity.
Concerning the technical merits of this shot. The subjects look somewhat grainy and soft on focus. There is almost a deliberate high key look due to the overexposure. I think artistically it fits given this particular composition.
Bumping up.

Lucky Cloverby SunnieeComment: cute.
Edit: More comments...This is quite imaginative. I like the depth of focus you selected for this shot. Clear, detailed, and exposed nicely. The composition works well. I would imagine, not having actually tried this myself, that to get the clover leaflets arranged with some semblance of realism is a challenge in of itself. Bonus points for creativity and solid execution. Bumping up to 7. |
