Miami Design Districtby CODEComment: Quite remarkable! I like the way you composed this shot, and there is nothing deficient from a technical point of view. Overall a refreshingly unique photograph. |

Linlithgow Palaceby geewhyComment: Quite a wonderful sky and expanse of water. Adds a lot of interest but unfortuantely from this vantage, the castle is rather small and lacks much detail. |

Chicago's Newest Landmark, "The Bean".by TommyMoe21Comment: Deja vu...I saw another bean earlier. I like this one better. A more pleasing composition and the reflection is quite interesting. Who's that lone figure standing in the distance in the reflection? I wonder... :) |

The Angelby BlackdogComment: There is a distracting loss of contrast and a haloing effect introduced by what I suspect to be overly prominent use of the Highlights and Shadows filter or alternative to that effect. Otherwise technically sound.
With that aside, now for the good: I love the way you framed and composed this shot. The lone figure standing next to the larger subject adds so much more interest to this photograph. Well done. |

Tall and Proudby ArtanComment: First the positive: great sky and color saturation. I lke the framing and composition very much.
The negative: I think you may have been over zealous with your noise reduction as there is somewhat of a posterized loss of fine detail. |

The old Town Hallby jjbeguinComment: Very sharp and detailed. Like the fact that you did not use NI or other noise reduction on this photo. Such interesting shades and hues on the masonry. Excellent saturation on the potted plants. |

13th and Pennby blemtComment: Love the star effect! I overall like your exposure time (exposed to the focus of your shot). I find the extreme aspect ratio to be the only distractor here and a minor one at that. |

The Statue of Liberty - but not in New Yorkby claudia26Comment: Framed well and well composed. Technically adequate but I must point out one issue: this is advanced editing and you really could have cleaned up the dust spot in the upper edge of your photo with a quick clone stamp. If you don't have access to an image editor to perform this maneuver, my apologies. |
