|This is Tynedale Monument which stands high on the hill over North Nibley in Gloucestershire.
I have now realised that I am so unfit. By the time I had walked to the top of the hill to take this shot; I needed 10 minutes before I could hold the camera steady.
Before anyone asks, this is not meant to be a copy of Castle Hill from the first Masters Challenge; however I do accept that it does use some of the same compositional elements.
The weather in the UK has been cloudy and overcast all week, which has not helped.
This picture was taken early afternoon, yet only a few minutes before, the auto flash was being set off with some of my shots.
Anyhow, for this I slightly distorted the image to get the tower off a slight tilt, used various layers with curves, contrast adjustments and a little cloning to remove some white spots and of course, USM.
