Shattered Thoughtsby KDOComment: Revisiting.
This image has a moody, surreal feel to it with your given choice of lighting/hue adjustment. At first, I quickly skimmed passed this shot as another broken bulb shot. However, I can see the connection between your title and shot (lightbulb = moment of inspiring thought). Well done. This image is beyond reproach from a technical point of view, except for one small area on the screw that appears to have been burned a bit to perhaps reduce a blow out (a bit distracting loss of detail). Does not take away much from the quality of this shot, however. I am raising this one up from 4 -> 7. |

Windsweptby Judith PolakoffComment: This is the best of the pampas grass (and variations on theme) entries. You win the Pulitzer prize for Best Grass in Inconsequential Photojournalism.
What I particuarly find fascinating about this entry is the backdrop of white trees. A nice counterpoint to the detailed and well exposed foreground subject.
Revisiting. The subtle interplay of light and shadow is quite remarkable. Bumping up. |

Windy Day Fun by FirstyComment: This has to be the most outrageous entry I've seen in a while. These kids defy gravity! Well maybe not but kudos for outstanding creativity. I'll be tuning in later to hear your story behind this quirky photograph.
Revisiting. This is just too wild. Easily one of my top three picks. 9 |

breeze anyone?by PhobosComment: Now this guy looks like an oddball. I think this appears too comical and staged given the lack of supporting evidence in the background bystanders. Scores well for creativity and appropriateness to challenge theme. Well done.
Revisiting. This was executed to perfection. Easily one of my top three picks. :) 9 |

Yellow To Goldby spreadcomComment: Wonderful creativity. This photograph was voted down unjustly for whatever reason (perhaps voters thought it was 'photoshopped'). |

Alternative Fuelby redmoonComment: Nice study in contrasting energy harnessing as well as a strong message in the pressing need for dependance on non-renewable sources of power. Well done. |

Carry me!, and show me the world.by ValdoComment: Well done. Elegant simplicity, gracefully executed in an artistically and technically pleasing manner. Excellent backdrop to contrast with the falling feather. Your title is kinda hokey though. |

Strong Windby DiscraftComment: Ah, quite an effective shot. This guy's talented. Must have taken some effort to get this to look right. Well done! I think the backdrop is quite dramatic and adds much interest to this shot. Wonderful. |
