The Hikeby MobiusComment: Great entry for this challenge. The upward gaze and close crop highlights the children's enthusiasm and sense of adventure and optimism in a favorite outdoor activity (hiking through the wooded trails). If the other child was looking away from the camera, this image would be even more effective. Overall a nice capture. |

"No Where"by ace flymanComment: Position within frame very effective in conveying the message within your title. B&W treatment tastefully executed and nice DOF. I like the way your subject gazes away from the camera, as if lost. Nicely captured. |

Bla-Bla-Bla..by docpjvComment: Motion blur adds an interesting dimension to this photograph in that it so effectively isolates the main subject. To me, it conveys the absorbance of focus to the conversation on the phone and the obliviousness to one's surroundings oftentimes when engaged on the cell phone. Nice job in a photograph that effectively meets the challenge. |

Innocent Soulby TLL061Comment: Stunning capture of this statue. Excellent bokeh, wonderful framing.
Interesting in that an inanimate object was captured and submitted for this challenge. Does it work? I'm not sure, but perhaps voters here will not be very forgiving. Best of luck. |

Cowboy Cookby BAMartinComment: I like this composition. I think the figure in the foreground holds enough interest to float the boat so to speak.
It appears that his shirt and hat was a bit overexposed, and the background is fairly dark, which seems to me like the lighting was rather difficult to work with. It's a tough situation to be in, and overall I think you handled it fairly well. One other issue: appears to be miscropped evidenced by the lower right corner. But that's not distracting enough to be a major issue. Well done. |

Stormy Rideby photomayhemComment: Excellent crop. Quite a dramatic sky which adds to the interest in this photograph. Some haloing around the foreground as a result of your exposure correction (perhaps by masking, or using the shadow&highlights filter?) is distracting enough to be an in issue. Overall well done, though, and timing was perfect. |

"Hey, Handsome...where ya going?"by MarjoComment: Precious expression on the kitties captured with perfect timing. The backdrop of snow complicates the exposure, but overall was handled well. |

Happy Days by qmdiComment: Amazing capture, and perfect title. :-) I wish you had some cropping real estate to add some space to the top/left. Aside from that, simply wonderful. 9 |

Old ladyby sahkoComment: In a field of strong contenders, this amazing capture surfaces resoundingly as a forerunner for the ribbon. :-) What strikes me most about this image is the steel and brightness in her eyes, and that's what makes a truly great portrait.
Wonderful details, tonal range, DOF, framing and composition. 10
