You Can't Catch Meby cloudsmeComment: Great idea. Very fun. The brilliance is in the concept. Nice execution, too. The point of view, from under the cookie sheet, is the perfect touch. |

7 Card Drawby bigfishComment: Now, why didn't I think of this. Great line and color. I would like to see the thumb in focus. Also, and I admit that I am being a bit a.r. here, but I would like to see a clean fingernail since this shot is all about clean lines and neat colors. |

Seven Eggsby BudComment: Soft, smooth, earthy, and so elegant. Although the crabby cynics will probably criticize the feather, I think it is the perfect touch. The soft, fuzzy, fluff contrasts so well with the smooth clean lines of the eggs. An easy 8. Nice job. |

Red Maple at Night by rd_325Comment: Nice composition and color. Simple elegance. The tips of some of the leaves look oversharpened. Forgive me if I am wrong and it is a natural lighting effect. Beautiful image. |

Green Leaves in Fallby rileyComment: Brilliant image. Nice job using the brown leaves as a subtle parallel. So nice. Dazzling composition. A nine, easy. |

Grazingby L1Comment: Nice dreamy effect. I would like a focal point of some sort or a hint of one. I know, I know, with seven, how does one accomplish a focal point? Fair enough. |

Foundationby xtabintunComment: Risky and daring, which I normally like, but this is just a little too sparse for me. I am not sure what this is the foundation of... oh...wait...maybe I get it...it's seven cornerstones...no? I guess, I just don't get it. |

Rainbowby JinjitComment: I like this. This is the rare case where I would like to see the image centered and the end spools within the frame. I would crop up the bottom a bit. The reflection is nice, but you allow it to dominate the photo; it should simply enhance the main subject. The fact that the spools are not perfect and symetrical really adds interest, but that is the reason that this image needs to be centered; their imperfections, and of course the color, should be what capture the viewers attention. Great idea and your color choices work well. |

seven for luckby clictacameraComment: Oh, there it is. I missed the gloved hand for a minute. Interesting photo. It is fascinating how different hands can look. The composition is a bit messy or unbalanced, but you would have to play around with it to see what would be better. Fun idea. |

Crapsby I Enjoy HamComment: I like the idea of having dice of a different color, but I think it would have been more effective if both of the colored dice were the same different color (does that even make sense?) The dots showing through the pink die are distracting. I like the choice of having the dice in the background in softer focus. Great blue background. The reflection is interesting. Maybe you could play that up a bit. |
