mellow yellowby LisaCanComment: If your flame were crisp and in focus, and there was no glare on the glass this would be a very nice image. The black in the flame is a great foil for the yellows and oranges. |

Uno Boredomby Citizen ErasedComment: Such a freaky image. I expect this little creature to turn on me and try to sink his fangs into my flesh. The use of light, point of view, and composition create an intense tension in what is a seemingly innocent image. (Maybe I have issues from childhood or something.) Very creepy. Anything that gets that strong of an emotional reaction from me gets bumped up from my intial reaction. |

Golden Pastaby Judith PolakoffComment: This shot is beautiful. You certainly are a genius with color. Great use of contrasting shapes and textures. Pleasant image. Powerful initial impact. This is a case where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. If I dissect this image, it loses its power. Great artistic eye. |

Yellow Officesceneby mitemouzeComment: I like this. Very nice. Great use of the red paperclip as a foil. The only flaw is the washed out lines in the paper from the flash or light source. Great idea and excellent composition. You have the eye of an artist. How refreshing. |

Loversby SharQComment: Hmmm. what does yellow symbolize here? I am not sure. The man has zero passion in his expression. These are the tow most bored lovers I have ever seen. NIce line and use of light and shadow. For an image to work for me, to trascend above a simple reresentational image, I need to feel something, some connection, some emotional intensity. Great technical images, but it misses the mark. |

Fall Harvestby leteneleComment: Stunning monochormatic image. Great composition. My only criticism is that I think the entire image would transcend to the highest level is it were all in crisp and tight focus. Given your careful composition, I am fairly certain that the soft focus on the wheat was a choice, not an accident. My desire to have it all in focus is really a matter of taste, and, given the initial impact of this stunning image, probably a bit petty. Nice shot. High impact image. |

Fade to Yellowby uctopukComment: Vibrant and vivid, but I would like a bit for of what I am looking at. This kinda reminds me of those "Guess what this is" photos from the Weekly Reader. If you are an International member, you probably have no clue what that means...sorry. Great detail in your focal point. |

...and then Daisy said, are we done yet?by plumber711Comment: Fun title. The blur on the inside pedals bothers me. I want to see every wrinkle of this flower's death throes. Great idea. Also, nice touch with the positioning of having the flower face to the left (the past). Whether intentional or not, it is nice to see the use of artistic/symbolic elements in photos. The blue is stunning. There are many good things about this shot. Nice job. |
