Nature's Jewelby cpanaiotiComment: Is this a scored filter, or just the lens flare? Weird to get this effect when you've obviously stopped down a bit, and it looks like you've got a four bladed apeture in the lens. If this isn't a PS effect it's a neat photo... My fav. so far. |

Knee On Lightsby GeneralEComment: The light is a bit harsh, and the shadow to the upper left is a little distracting, but otherwise a great photo. You've got the focus on the lights, and the shallow DOF has the denim just out of focus, really drawing the eye to the glass work.
I might have been tempted to remove the writing from the top of the standard bulb though, as the 'double text' look from the shadow makes it look a little out of focus in that area.
I feel that the picture is slightly 'top heavy' though, possibly a lighter dennim to lighten the top of the frame, or a even a naked knee, which would of course allowed you to enter in two challenges for the price of one. Maybe a white sheet of paper just out of frame on the left to give some fill lighting to the shadows would have worked as well.
I got a giggle out of this, so it deserves a long comment :-). a solid 8. |

7 train taking off in NYCby maylilyComment: This shot almost looks like a lithograph... I'm glad you didn't get sucked into the 'neat image' pit of dispair and clean this up. The noise makes a fairly mundane image interesting IMHO. |

Stand By Meby aerogurlComment: I really like the old feeling to this shot.. Although the flare around the sky at the top is quite distracting.. I'd be tempted to wander back there with lower light and re-take this shot for my wall.. Well captured simple shot. Ignore the folks who complain about the noise/grain, it looks great. |

Not Another Railway Track Photo....by 3DsArcherComment: ? This looks like Brittomart, or at least the other photos I've seen of it!... Neat wall, and you've got the white balance pretty good considering the odd lighting. The lean to the left is a little distracting though... |

It happens everydayby Prime_TimeComment: You get sunrise/set like that every day? Lucky you! :-). Great colours in this, although I would have prefered to see the horizon not so centered.. |

Walk with me.by jkuangComment: There is a bit much border on this for my liking. This looses a lot of impact having the photo so small.. The caption works really well though, and pulls me in to look at the person in red. Great light as well... Well caught. |

The Touristby ElemmennopeComment: What a cool cat photo.. The tilt on the lampshade and the lighting overall is neat, makes your pussy seem dark and mysterious. :-). |

God Gave Rock'n'Roll to Youby BooZonComment: Where did you get such a large wooden model from? :-). I like the lighting in this shot, and the angle works really well to give the shot a 'real' feeling. Well done. |

Inning Overby HRoxasComment: The lighting on this is great, and the wee figure/model is wonderfully detailed, well done on both counts if you made the model! |
