Honestly, I love the idea. My problem is with the background. The whole winding down at the end of a long day of heroics idea is great. The bindings/light/chair/reflection distract from the subject though.

The gun does 2 things. It obviously adds to the picture in that context is further extablished. It also IMO takes away from the hero aura. Soldiers are heroes because they fight and would die for freedom etc. Not because they killed or would kill for it. Anyways, as for the picture. I love it. I think it has trememdous impact. The b&w, even the centered composition doesn't bother me. The focus is great, and like I said, the composition is excellent. Best of the challenge thus far.

I like the effect. It's a bit overdone especially in the top right, but I like the way the boats turned out.

Very nice colors. The lawn and sky are amazing. The larger tree is slightly underwhelming though. EIther way, I really like this picture.

Seems a bit out of focus to me. I think the petals draw my attention and the focus is on the a leaf. I really like the colors though, and the composition is great.

The desat here works well. A wish the leaves were a brighter red though. I'm sure you tried adjusting the levels. Nice composition.

Is that Schilling? I'm from MA and not a big fan of Bush. On to the picture. The focus is on the seal, which is okay. But as the subject is W himself, I wish you had tried him instead. Composition is good, the crowd behind doesn't detract from the picture whatsoever. Nice shot.

I don't think this is on topic. It's more a lack of choice, as opposed to indecision. Interesting train color. Good colors although the sky is kind of depressing. I definitely would've cropped out the leaves on the right.
