you might try using a graduated ND filter to regain detail in the sky, or blending two exposures if the challenge allows for it. I like the patterns the shadows make, as well as the God rays.

seems like this shot was taken for the bird rather than its wood content. You might consider using a larger aperature to blur the background and foreground more. Another suggestion is be to find an angle in which the symmetry of the lines is greater.

Photo seems a bit out of context, but I like it - the muted colors, the clear image of a time when there are no clear images to remember it by, and finally, the general push of focus towards the top middle of the frame. Why are they all converging though - seems more like a pep rally?

not sure if that is the natural lighting in the setup or post editing, but I like it! I also like how the background disappears after your eye passes the subjects.

This was one of the highest scores I gave, it fits the competition (at least to me) and it is well composed - I like the focus on the one that most of us would eat first. For some reason though, the colors seem to really clash. I wonder if a different table top would make it work, or if the blue icing is just painful to me in any context. Maybe a white or black tabletop?

I just bumped this one up after realizing how many poor scores I gave. This is a clear decision, a well composed shot (I especially like that you have used a background/lighting scheme/composition that removes the shadows). I only give 10's to photographs that I would hang on my wall, but for this challenge that's a tough one. Nice shot!
