Hot Chocolateby CalliopeKelComment: Great image, I love it, it really makes me incredibly thirsty. I like the lighting as well the only thing that you could have done better would be to avoid cutting the top of the glass.
I hope your drank this after ;) |

Laine Triptych.jpgby DrAchooComment: I love this, it's so incredibly beautiful. Another one of the magnificent treasures here that I would love to have on my wall. The B&W is a perfect choice for the tryptich. I love the shallow DOF that lets us concentrate on the beautiful details of the baby. Also the arranged is great: branch-body-brach. Well since the image is quite small I really can't say anything about it except that this is fabulous photography. |

After the 5th bottle of wineby DvosdonComment: Great tilted image! Great idea, great reflections. Everything's great but well it's only great, the compostion is a little weak, you should have listened to the rules instead of being an anarchist ;-) Anyway this could also make a great picture for complimentary colors, oh and also keep in mind that making the colors as well as the lighting pop attracts more interest. |

The Dressby idnicComment: Where to start? Where to start? I may start by pointing out the unreal but oh so excellent sharpness that hoovers over the beads on the dress. Maybe I want to first talk about how the laces just go oh so well the hands that are tying it, it's such a quality photograph but technical and creativly. Sure I may have seen a lot of such photographs where we see the laces in the bride's back, they're usually to add mood to the picture, usually that's how wedding pics are if they're meant to be original. Here you had a bold go at it, your picture is in color yet as magnificent as it would be in B&W. The skin tones are contrasty with the light effects that makes them look so smooth and perfect for this color photographer. The composition is another isssue all together, you used the rule of thirds on different layers, I'm not sure if you did this knowingly or if it just happened but it doesn't matter, the result will never change. The flower girl in the back of course is beautiful, she's representing joy, childish joy and the growing up as well. One day she'll be in this bride's shoes, one day the bride will be knitting her shoes. This is really a great picture that I would love to have on my wall. This is a picture with many hidden meanings in it. |

ICUCingMeby MPRPROComment: Was this taken from the Pepsi Cola sign? Ah I miss New York and this picture kind of makes me miss it a lot more. I love the composition, the beautiful background the doubts (That are on every guy's mind whom a camera is pointed towards) yet the lighting really seems unatural, not at all flashy, looks like a copy and paste :-/ I'm not sure but it's still a great pic. |

Odor-Eaters???by NaldComment: Yeah timberlands have a tendency to do that. Mine does that too, it really sucks. Unless you capture it in a picture! Awfully creative I must say, one of the best in the challenge. |

Missing you...by miriam_mrbComment: Very very cute idea but it could have been executed perfectly. A lower angle would get a better view of the dog and give it more of a realness and you shouldn't have to worry about the cluttered background ;) the lighting is position at the wrong place, plus it's too harsh, if it was a little bit more diffused that placment would not have been seen. But good working your model |

Memento Moriby mannjuditComment: This may be one of the best pictures I've seen in a while, it just leaves the viewer wondering it really does, and the post-processing is marvelous as well... Of course the pole there is really misplaced but it really doesn't interfere the picture. This is a beautiful conceptual piece, left to the viewers interpretation, you just wonder, what are the shoes doing there? Did they have an owner that just jumped into the water? Or did they go there all by themselves...A 10 for a magnificent out of the box shot |

Prayerby asijComment: This is perfect. I'm trying really hard to find something to give advice on but everything works out perfectly. The composition is nice, the tight framing right on spot. The grain gives a nice, sad and moody effect, that as Rob kind of prooved it, can't be without. The B&W is a nice choice, it's hard to image this picture in colour, I really do thing that would not have the same effect. And as for the cloud, above her head. I just have to say that that's wonderful, it's magnificently placed. Did you wait for it to go there? I mean it just leaves it so much to interpretation! For one thing you could say that it's the girls soul, flying off. or maybe the dead's soul flying past the praying girl. The wind blowing on the girl's hair is just a fabulous detail. This is perfect as it is and I can't keep myself from faving it. |
