Squaresby GabrielComment: A very nice variation on theme, nice lighting, and good focus. The overall image is not particularly appealing although the study of variations within it is.

Believe me kid water killsby GeneralComment: I was a little slow getting this. Advanced years I guess. A bright shiny new little set of pliers might have got me on board quicker than the screw did. The orange background in marvellous with the deep blue green of the rusted steel. The red of the remaining paint is less attractive. This image really requires an uneven treatment of light, less for the screw and more for the dark rust on the pliers.
A 6. I really like the orange. |

A KIDS VIEWby Rando D300Comment: And a nice view it is even if that old rusty fence gets in the way. Certainly better than the kid's falling in the river. I would be tempted, however, to thrust my head through the fence and get an unhindered view. Lovely shot even with rust. Hope you got one without.

Rustby bmatComment: The glare on the lower right hand corner unfortunately is more than the rest of the picture can compensate. I do like the stack of rusty pancake like image though. A sun shield over the lens could have saved this picture.

Forgottenby amsmythComment: Perhaps the wagon will be. But not this photo. Lovely shot.

Going Nowhereby becloComment: I hope you are referring to the car and not the picture. Thie picture certainly should be headed to hanging on many walls.
Very nice work.

Rusted, but not archaicby s2fraserComment: The spring leaves work very well in bringing life to the dull brown of rust my eye is led to the far supporting arch, but the rest of the picture seems out of harmony with the line of that arch. A more traditional look down the bridge might serve this subject better than the one chosen.

Left in the Northby stinaComment: This is a very beautiful image. I am sorry you made it less than half what you could have submitted.

Rustby LindaEComment: Very nice use of negative space, and the remaining paint on the circular door really increases the interest of this very nice composition.
