Deadened Yellowby kateasanovComment: Good job strewing the Ginko leaves. I just took an envelope and cropped off the top shadowed area which I find a little distracting. The nose and chin are just a little overexposed. An 8. |

Global Mpactby novaComment: I like the strength of the colors here, but something stange is going on with the black splotchs on the red and the horizontal tears of black across the yellow of the arch. Something in processing got overdone. Very nice composition. An 8. |

Sodium Vaporby alanbataarComment: Very interesting. As sodium vapor causes a number of changes, I think green to red and vice versa, it would be interesting to include things of recognizable color such as apples, bananas, lettuce, in such a picture and to attempt to process the picture without changing the colors as seen. I like the yellow jacket and the light in the trees. The exposure, depth of field, and focus are very good. Also, a very good model, especially if he had to hold still for long. A 9. |

Yellow Officesceneby mitemouzeComment: Nice touch throwing in the red paper clip and the darker yellow pencil. I turned the brightness of my monitor down to 25% and the pen top is still a little too bright. I would suggest shooting at a number of exposure settings and using levels adjustments to reduce glare, especially for bright yellow. Even the surface of the lined pad is wiped out by glare in the foreground center. A 7. |

SINKing in the rainby bairasComment: Excellent lemon slice and water surface, as well as drain. Lights and shadows perfection. I would have liked a faster shutter to stop the falling water just a hair more. Overall, a 10. |

Daisyby PixelstateComment: This is a little on the dim side and lacks some oomph. I copied it over to Photo Shop, went into levels and adjusted the green channel to 32, 1.00, 255 and got what I believe is a really outstanding effect, while retaining, I believe, your artistic intent. A 9. |

Stoicby Mark of SRQComment: What a great lens. Nice angle too. The basic editing rules prevent singling out the sky for noise reduction, and the sharpening artifacts are just slightly noticible on the upper bill. From the point of view of yellow, I like the light yellow of the the eye and the dark yellow of the band between the eyes. Was he in the alert position, almost completely vertical, that Egrets take when disturbed? A 10. |

Yellow To Goldby spreadcomComment: Very nice effect. Look forward to reading about your setup. Aesthetically, the composition is very pleasing but the burnt out pixels in the center and the fuzziness of the light traces trouble me somewhat. It is also cropped a little tight especially for framing. An 8. |
