Glassesby KiwiChrisComment: this is a truly beautiful composition that demonstrates classical lines, great lighting and wonderful use of negative space. Good luck - this should do very well IMHO 9 |

spinner abstractby mocabelaComment: very nice. Extra marks for creativity. I like the border (which it needs) but I think it is a tad too heavy 7 |

Out To Pastureby aerogurlComment: nice composition but the border seems too heavy, and for me at least, spoils the pastoral effect |

Odd Lion Outby GeneralEComment: This is a delightful study. A bit of back lighting would have made it stand out more. |

Just Three In A Rowby KaralewComment: A beautifully lit and creative shot that has a "wow" factor. Title is not too strong, but the image is gorgeous 8 |

Storm a Brewinby BrooklynsbridgeComment: The highly saturated nature of this shot is dramatic. The composition is OK but not great and technically there are four trees and a rather disctracting pole. I'm afraid I also find the border rather heavy. Score - 5 (four trees plus a pole!) |

Winter treesby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: This is such a nice image but could have been a definite winner in my opinion if the crop took out most of the distracting spots in the snow in the lower third of the frame. Then the use of negative space would have been more powerful with the starkness of the black and white being accentuated. Just my opinion, but I am reaching for the crop tool as I look at this. I think it is one of the best shots in the challenge but could be killer! |
