Ahhhh the honeycomb again. I like it, very pleased to see you using the shadows to effect. Did you use vignette? Get rid of the right side, portrait mode, this will create more feeling, my personal preference for this image. 6

The Theme Building At LAX

What a crazy shot, exactly where I am right now with shadows/highlights. Excellent in B&W (I know it was an obvious choice).
The swirl carries me through this wonderland of contrast and shapes, the closed eyelashes, the twin trees (by the way my nit-pick is here... please get rid of that thing left side of the tree, pretty please).. regardless of that obstacle spoiling my journey through the total whiteness this is worthy of my top pick. 10

I definitely feel pity yet almost elated that nature has come to reclaim the badness and surround the innocent building with life.

Gret image, tiny nit-pick would be a touch of whitening in the sky, it looks a tad flat, put the highlights slider up a smidge.

The pixilation is too strong, Im not sure if it is intentional or not but it lends no favour to the shot at all.

Great shot, nicely processed, wonderfully framed with powerful skies to darken the very door you about to enter.
I may of gone a bit darker in the shaddows but i'm on a dark vibe at this time but still one of the better images .. 8

Strong and Solid

Harsh contrast in B&W is excellent for creating a strong mood, power. I really enjoyed the honeycombed windows like watching eyes. I also liked the saw edge in the bottom left as if to say "we are a small axe, ready to chop you down" ..

I can feel fear.
HDR is big these days but it can be a tad too much at times, i enjoy the darkness of shaddows they have a part to play too.
Great perspective and selection of lens for the shot though, it's like a big hairy monster leaning over me ready to engulf me.

Transitions: the way we were (the way we are)

Im not sure where you are standing or that you HAVE to stand there but I feel this would of been stronger if you could of gotten a straighter view of the 2 bridges and created a layer effect with the threes, the new bridge, the water (passing of time), the reflection(memories) followed by the older bridge replaced but never forgotten. If you just crop off the left side until there is only water you will see what i mean, hope you get my point, nice image. 6
