Rain Collecting on Glassby ElaineComment: Hey, don't feel bad about this. It's taken me forever to figure out what makes a high scoring image. The worst part is that, now I know what they look like, but I keep submitting bad shots anyway.
Some things that are important are composition, focus, lighting, depth and interest of subject matter. You might study the challenge winners and see if you can figure out what makes them stand out.
You have a good camera, but you may want to work with the settings. This image has a lot of noise, which can be minimized by working with ISO and shutter speed. |
