the dof is lovely.. this is a seemingly great floral portrait, but the border takes away from me seeing more of the image. i would like to see it closer up to see the detail in the daisy but the border keeps me from that.

the subject is not clearly in focus, and the background doesnt have enough blur to make the foreground subject stand out. the subject isnt that interesting.. it doesnt have any Wham to it (unless he hits you with that stick hehe). the crop is good tho, the placement of the subject is good.. its just not a strong image for a free study.

i don't quite understand how this is contre jour.. but its one heck of an image. i love the the bluish background against the dark red of the flower's center.. the focus is great.. irs a nice image :)

the body if the person looks too small to be fully grown, it looks like a child.. that is the only thing that bothers me about the shot.. if it was named, childhood fun or something, i would give it a 10, but the title doesnt fit somehow.. beautiful shot none the less. 8
