Cool shot. I like the use of lighting and shadows here. Composition and selective desaturation really emphasize the title. I'm gonna step out on a limb here and pick this as one of the top placers in the challenge.... 8

I like your idea and execution here. Although I'm not crazy about the composition. The subjects are very split in the shot and the negative space does not add to the photo imho.

haha, great shot. DOF and composition are nice and the reverse use of selective desaturation works well. A little noisy in the background for my taste, but still a good nonetheless.... 7

Great contrast and very vivid colors! My only suggestion is that the lighting seems a little harsh and the cropping of the bird to desaturate is a little messy.... particularly around the wings.

Wow, that's a really cool shot. Detail and DOF are great and the desaturation looks flawless. Maybe cropping to make the "bubble" more central may have improved composition, but great shot regardless..... 8
