Anemoneby Mal37Comment: Above-water shot... Tough shooting conditions. Nice colors and a very interesting subject. I would have liked to see it comprise more of the composition. |

City Lifeby youngnovaComment: Very cool shot. The color saturation in the blues and reds is great. IMHO the fence and stairs area is a bit distracting. Perhaps shooting this to include only the blue wall as a background may have helped? Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless |

Heliconiaby janrussComment: Nice composition and great DOF here. Exposure looks spot-on despite the bright sun conditions. |

Conquering Winterby notesinstonesComment: Nice shot. I love the angle you've chosen to shoot this at, and the composition used. IMHO this shot would have had a much greater visual impact with a shallow DOF. It would have cleaned up the scene more and really emphasized the subject and color. Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless |

Out of the Blueby BethraComment: Nice use of selective desaturation to answer the challenge. The tonality of the shot and black areas really give the subject nice contrast. One thing I found distracting was the reflection of the photographer in the sphere. Not sure if this was intentional? If not, perhaps layer masks in p-shop may have helped. |

An Isaiah Burstby KiwiShotzComment: Great candid. I love the feel and emotive quality of this shot. The color saturation is also excellent. IMHO the focus seems a tad off. Mostly evident in the face and areas of the background material. Looks like the lighting conditions were quite bright. Perhaps you could have gotten away with shutter speeds a few stops higher to improve focus? Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless.... 7 |

Golden Pheasantby wmprkgComment: Wow, colorful bird! I like the composition and DOF you've achieved here. IMHO the color palette seems a tad on the cool side? Possibly due to the shade in the background? Maybe adjusting temperature in the RAW stage would have added? Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless.... 7 |

Luna Redby macrothingComment: Very nice macro. Your focus and detail look spot-on. On my monitor, the photo seems a tad soft and lacks contrast in the pedals. Maybe dialing down the exposure compensation in-camera or post processing may have helped? Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless.... 7 |
