Outstandingby crabappl3Comment: I am going to go against the grain here. I approve of the amount of shadow because it balances the space above the boxes and both work together to create scale and and a sence of isolation. All these factors add to the abstract ying/yang like character that made me laugh with pleasure when I first saw it. The only thing that would make it better is if the shadow had a straight line in keeping with all the other geometric shapes. That that was something that couldn't be controlled so that curve is just proof of reality.

Angelic Prideby stephanComment: neat interpertation of someone elses art. is that an angel or the mischivious cupid who incites inconvient lust. hmmm he seems to be wearing the mask of a drunken old man? Plenty of sin here but not pride. |

A New Bell Curveby just-marriedComment: JM this should have scored way higher. The lack of complete symetry is not a problem to me. Would have looked artifiscial otherwise. |

Mother and Childby myqylComment: I think the beam of light would not only help the subject but also give more depth/roundness to the statuette. Otherwise good positioning. |

Mask Eyesby SwashbucklerComment: Swash, I think the problem is that you got so close people couldn't identify what they were looking at. A plain green glass might have been better for defineing the eye hole and setting off the stone. Was definetly an eye catcher. |
