Rorshach Lakeby alfrescoComment: This is a really beautiful photo. Quite captivating! I especially love how clear the reflection is, and how the trees flow.
And of course, I love the title - very creative! |

Reflections on a Fall Dayby Prof_FateComment: Very nice shot! I think it would be even better if the photo was really crisp throughout (not sure in this case if in needs an increased depth of field or use of a tripod). There's just something ever so slightly fuzzy about the photo.
Other than that, perhaps finding a way to better integrate the little boy's "reflections" on the flower in the rest of the photo - perhaps by getting him to be a little larger in the frame. Not quite sure if this would work - just a suggestion. |

My other loveby spleenlessComment: I'm stumped as to what this is (perhaps it would have been a good entry in the "What!?" challenge :)
But, it does have a nice reflection in it. I think it would be improved if it were sharper, and maybe cropping/composing differently, but since I don't know what this is, it's a little hard for me to say. |

The Farmer's Pondby fixedintimeComment: I really love the crispness in this photo - terrific depth of field.
I only wish the reflection were clearer, but I can see that the ripples are caused by wind, not anything that you had control over. So it may not be possible to improve much on this shot.
Nice work! |

First Lemons.....by AzCKellyComment: I think the photo would be even better (and fit the challenge better, perhaps), if the reflection was even more pronounced. I'm not sure how this would be achieved, though. |

The Roar of the Crowdby twm122Comment: Nice concept! Also, very nice composition
My only suggestion would be to try to reduce the glare off the tuba. Perhaps a polarizing fiter or some other type of filter? |

Strömforsby RupertComment: Ah - the upside-down shot! Very nice. I especially like the "lilypads in the sky".
The only thing I see that could possibly improve it is if the water had been a bit more still. |

Sports car businessby TOYComment: Nice work - You have a great concept in this photo. I think you could have made it even more effective by tightly cropping in on the sunglasses. |

Leafy Stairsby KaupsComment: I like the eerie-ness of this photo. I think it would do better in a different challenge, though. In fact, if it had been converted to B&W, increased in contrast, and given some grain, it might have done well in the Image Grain challenge!
Looking at the photo on its own merits, though... I like the composition a lot. Also, its softness gives it almost a painterly effect! I don't know if this was intended, but I like it a lot.
Nice work - just wrong challenge. |
