Bronzedby amsmythComment: Great use of leading lines! Very nicely composed. The color is good, but looks a little washed out in the center. Perhaps a color adjustment could help. |

Laine Triptych.jpgby DrAchooComment: Oooh! What a beautiful triptych! Ditto what Ennil said. Also, you might want to consider doing a sepia/quadtone, too. I bet that would look beautiful, as well. Very nice work, Jason. |

Johnny On The Spotby SJCarterComment: Hehehe - great title! I haven't seen the original shot, but I do like this processing. I do, however, feel like it's a little flat. I think it's because of where the tree to the left is with respect to the outhouse. I wish it were back further, but that's not exactly something you could fix. Maybe if you shot it from a slightly different angle, from the right of the outhouse, so that the tree would appear to be a bit further behind it? But then your lighting might have been off. I don't know... just some random thoughts. |

Reflections of Autumnby SJCarterComment: Great use of bold color! They really pop right off the dark background. Also, your reflection is nice and clear. I'm guessing that the bluish/greenish patches in the reflection is the sky, right? I find them a little distracting (see the lower right corner), but I don't know what you really could do about them. All in all, a terrific shot! |

Wraithby SJCarterComment: Oooooooo! Creepy! Fantastic use of photoshop, although I'm sure you started out with a great photo. Excellent composition. Were you looking in a mirror to set yourself up properly? |

James River from Indian Rockby SJCarterComment: What a beautiful shot! Terrific composition and colors. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the dark area in the upper right. Perhaps some level adjustment in Photoshop would help? Otherwise, perhaps a longer exposure time would have worked (but not too much longer - love how clear the reflection is in the river). |

RR Bridge @ Indian Rockby SJCarterComment: Interesting shot... Overall, I like it. The foliage on the left makes the photo feel a bit "cluttered", or perhaps just serves to distract. I'm not quite sure which. I think that this shot could be even better if it had some more contrast, and maybe greater DOF. If you didn't use a wide angle to get this shot, I think shooting it using a wide angle with the same crop might help, too. Just some thoughts. |

Swinging Sicklesby 3DsArcherComment: Nice shot! I like the effect you used. It's so hard to capture stuff like that clearly, when they're whipping weapons around. But sometimes the motion blur works, like here. Good job! |

Featherlightby nessnajComment: Nicely done! I think the border would look better if it was the same as a mid-tone color in the feather. |
