T H I N Kby TonyTComment: Nice lighting. A sharper focus on the eyes would get a higher vote from me. |

My mum thinks Im cuteby MrDarcyComment: Yeah, cute kid. A hair light would avoid having his head merge with the background. But otherwise, I love his expression and the general lighting. Nice b&w treatment too. |

geek.by sirmallocComment: See the white line that separates his sleeve from his arm, or his shirt from his chest? These "halos" are caused by too much sharpening. It's also evident (but harder to explain) in his beard and even in the letters on his hat). Anyway, the main thing is ... sharpen the image, but don't over sharpen it. |

The Yearsby LouisComment: Very nice b&w treatment. I like the lighting a lot, though I wish the overall exposure was just a tiny bit lighter as I think a "lighter mood" would fit her better. |

portrait of a girlby sigrun_thComment: Should be "portrait of a pretty girl". Very nicely done. I like how the background surrounds and frames her with light. It draws the eye right into the center of the image. Love her expression and the lighting on her face. Very nice b&w treatment too. |

Mandyby griz210Comment: She's pretty and all, but... see how the light on her sleeve is brighter than the light on her face? It draws the attention away from her face. Also, her sleeve appears as if it could be in sharper focus than her eyes. The eyes are critical for getting the portrait right. If this was made with available light, I'd probably darken the sleeve in post processing, and lighten the face, especially the eyes and teeth. If you had supplemental lighting available, it would have been better to get the exposure closer in camera. |

Lunaby NazgulComment: Looks like a commercial shoot! There's a very high quality feel to this. Love the sharp focus on her eye and the b&w treatment overall. I do wish the camera was light up just a little bit more. But still very high quality. |
