Autumn Glowby marboComment: In this case... just a bit too much glow, I think. At least, the red center |

Reflections of Fallby dtremainComment: The hardest thing to do right with digital images in nature is get the leaves right. They are so easily over sharpened, which is what I believe has happened here. What I generally do is sharpen up to the point I like it and then back down. Or... I'll sharpen up to where I like the image overally, and then use the history brush and reduce the sharpening anywhere that there are tiny details (leaves, ripples in the water, etc).
The sky, I think, you could have had the hue adjusted slighting and the saturation pumped up a bit (gradient mask, etc). The colors in the leaves are nice, but they too could have benefited from a little saturation. |

Light up my life!by smurfguyComment: I don't care where this image lands in the end. But it's #1 in my book. Just gave it a 10 and a favorite! Great job! |

Raissaby albc28Comment: In this case, I think color may have been a better choice. Her face and upper body works well in B&W. But from there down, things start to get a little too messy/complex in B&W and I'm thinking if I could see color it would help me separate what I'm looking at. |

Hear My Songby lovethelightComment: Hmmm... I've seen this one somewhere before. But I *still* love it!
For what it's worth, I love, love, love long hair, and you have beautiful hair, but I still would have cropped it closer to the inside edge of the hair line just to put your face and mic on a thirds line.
Keep up the good work. |
