My first response to the image itself is that, it's kind of messy and a little chaotic. Looking at the title though gives the needed info, wrapping paper undone, and rocks in side. The overall picture feels softly focused, especially on the rocks, which makes it tough to identify what they are at first. The one in the corner looks more like a decorated cookie actually. Frankly, it's not an image that has a lot of eye appeal. It's disorganized and a little messy, and there's lots of distracting lint on the bottom edge. A simpler setup might have been better, maybe a box, opened with paper opened to reveal a rock?

Could have been a decent shot but the crop really seems to ruin it, no? Why clip the bottoms like that unless there was some point, which if there is, is not at all obvious. That said, nice soft background and good focus on your subjects, but can't make up for the awkward presentation.
